What we collect. When you use our contact form or email us, we collect your name, company, email address and anything you choose to tell us. Our website host also collects basic technical data, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, through cookies (see below).

Why we use it. We use your details to respond to your enquiry, to discuss and manage any work we do together, and to keep records of our business relationships. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running and developing our business, or taking steps towards a contract at your request.

Who we share it with. We use trusted service providers to run our business, including Squarespace (website hosting and forms) and Google Workspace (email). We may also share information with our professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, or where the law requires it. We never sell your personal data.

International transfers. Some of our service providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep it. We keep enquiries for up to two years unless they lead to a working relationship. In that case, we keep records for as long as the relationship lasts and for up to six years afterwards to meet legal and accounting obligations.

Security. We protect your data with access controls, encryption in transit, secure storage and careful selection of our service providers. No system is completely secure, but we work to keep risks low and to act quickly if anything goes wrong.

Research participants. This policy covers our website and business enquiries. If you take part in research we run, such as a survey or interview, you'll receive a separate privacy notice for that study before you take part.

Cookies. Our site uses essential cookies to work properly. With your consent, it also uses analytics cookies to help us understand how the site is used. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie banner or your browser settings.
