TEAM
We are a small team of seasoned specialists, with varied yet wildly complementary disciplines, whose paths have crossed again and again over a combined 30+ years in the health and beauty industry. In SLVE, those paths have become one, bound by a shared vision: a health and beauty industry that lives up to its name, for everyone.
We've had the privilege of training at some of the world's leading institutions, mentored by some of the brightest minds in science, engineering, medicine and business. We've spent our careers leading R&D functions and taking products from concept to shelf, for global multinationals and founder-led challengers alike. Yet our greatest asset has never been the spreadsheets, the strategy decks or the award-winning products. It's the time we've spent face to face with the people this industry exists to serve.
Our journeys differed, but we kept meeting the same gap: too little research for women and people of African descent, and a global health and beauty industry disproportionately sustained by these communities, yet dominated by products and services of only second-hand suitability for them – if suitable at all.
